Cloud Computing has disrupted the IT industry. Organizations can now leverage computing power that was earlier not available. However, security concerns still remain the key inhibitor of Cloud adoption. The objective of the workshop is to help participants understand Cloud security issues and how to address them.
This audience for the workshop is those who would like to understand Cloud security issues. This would typically include CIOs, CTOs, IT Security Professionals, System Administrators and IT professionals in general. We recommend that delegates have a basic understanding of security concepts like network security, encryption, identity and access management, privacy and availability.
The workshop on Cloud Security will enable participants to understand security issues in IaaS, PaaS and SaaS. It will also provide guidelines on how these security issues can be handled. Lastly, participants will understand how to identify secure Cloud Service Providers (CSPs).
